Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup no/low salt homemade breadcrumbs or crushed no salt soda biscuits
  • 1-1/2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp sodium reduced Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp 21 Salute or Mrs. Dash no salt seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley

Directions

1. Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl making sure all the spices are spread throughout the meat.

2. Divide the meat into 4 equal portions and make each portion into a ball.

3. Flatten each ball into a patty making sure it’s all of uniform thickness.

4. Cook over medium heat in a skillet or broil/grill until no pinkness remains.

5. Place in a toasted bun and garnish with your favorite toppings (sweet onion, tomato, lettuce, relish, low sodium mustard & ketchup).

6. If freezing the uncooked patties: place in between sheets of plastic wrap and place in a ziplock bag with as much air as possible removed – use within a month or two.
