Ingredients
- 4 -6 lean center-cut pork chops
- A good shake of Ms. Dash salt substitute
- pepper
- flour
- 3 -4 tablespoons no- salt butter
- 1 large oranges or
- 2 small oranges
- 1⁄2 cup fresh orange juice
Directions
1. rub the chops on both sides with Ms. Dash and pepper.
2. dredge in flour shaking off the excess flour.
3. heat butter in a large frying pan
4. over high heat brown the chops on both sides.
5. transfer the chops to a baking dish.
6. peel the orange and then cut into slices.
7. top each chop with one or 2 orange slices.
8. pour the orange juice over the meat and the rest of the orange slices.
9. cover the baking dish with tin foil and bake in a 350 degree pre-heated oven for about 1 hour or until tender.
10. serve on a bed of Romaine lettuce with steamed broccoli and a side of rice.
(There was 4 pork chops but I got hungry and ate 2 before I snapped the photo) Yum!
