Ingredients
- 1 cup dried tart cherries
- 1/3 cup bourbon
- 1 cup finely chopped sweet onion
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 11/2 cups nsa tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp dry mustard
- 1 tbsp worchester sauce and I didn’t bother with the lower sodium one
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp horseradish granules
Directions
Cook down 20 minutes run thru a hi speed processor to liquidIfy.
Makes 4 cups. Froze 3 use one in fridge
Use this recipe for a tomato base mop in sauces for ribs etc or by itself
