Ingredients
- 4 cans lo so pork and beans, drained (not really too hard to find). I found some at Aldi
- 1/3 Cup brown sugar
- 1 small onion, chopped finely
- 2/3 Cup No Salt Ketchup (I use Heinz)
- ½ Cup low sodium mustard (I use Griffin’s)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Nu Salt, No Salt or Mrs. Dash
- 1 slice of low sodium bacon cut into 6 pieces
Directions
Mix it all up, except for the bacon, and put into an 8 x 8 square pan laying the raw 6 pieces of bacon on top.
Cover with foil
Bake in a pre- heated 350F oven for 1 hour (after 45 minutes take the foil off)
Take it out of the oven, take the bacon pieces off and discard. Will feed a family of 6
