1. Turn your instant pot to sauté and wait until hot.
2. Brown the ground meat with the diced onions, until just browned through–about 5 minutes.
3. Add in your stock scraping the browned bits off the bottom. Add the tomatoes & Worcestershire sauce.

5. Close instant pot making sure the valve is sealed.

I am so glad to find this site. I am on a low sodium diet because of High Blood Pressure, Type two diabetes, Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 2, and Acute Asthma. I am also on a fluid restriction of 1800ml. This site will help me in planning meals for my family who also need to stay away from a lot of salt. Thank you.
My husband has to reduce his salt intake and Potassium due to stage 3 CKD. So I am so glad to find this website. I let him once a week have a free style day. We usually go out to lunch once a week. He was dianoised with CKD in 11/2018 with 31% kidney funtion. We weren’t told until 6/2019 when a different doctor from the VA told him. His CKD were operating at 34% at that time. Now they are at 43%. We still want to stay on the 1600mg of sodium until he gets to Stage 2. Next week he goes back to his private Urologist. We will find out exactly where his Kidneys, Bladder and Prostate is doing at that time. VA didn’t ever have his Prostate checked out. We had to go Private for that.
Thank you again for this website.
