Herbed Italian Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 -3 cups bread flour, start with 2 1/2 c.
  • 1/2 pinch garlic powder ( I used a “pinch” measuring spoon)
  • 1/2 t. onion powder
  • 1 t. dried basil
  • 1 t. dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dry active yeast
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cup warm water

Directions

Add all the ingredients and using a mixer or Kitchen Aid, knead with hook until it is well blended.

Let rise in a greased bowl until doubled, punch down and shape into a loaf .

Place on baking sheet and let rise for about 30 minutes.

Bake at 375 for about 25-28 minutes
