Ingredients

  • Russet potatoes
  • olive oil
  • seasoning such as 21 Seasoning Salute, any of the no salt Mrs Dash, any homemade no salt seasoning- Emeril’s Cajun, Montreal, etc.

Directions

Peel the amount of potatoes you will need, slice as thick or thin as you like. Rinse well and cover with water for a least an hour to remove the starch.

Drain well, and pat dry.

Place as much of the potatoes in the basket of the air fryer as will cover and maybe be two layers deep. Spray with olive oil and sprinkle with the seasoning you choose.

Bake at 400 degrees for about 9 minutes, toss them around, spray again to get all the potatoes.

Now give another sprinkle of seasoning. Bake 9 minutes more.

Time depends on amount of fries in the basket and the thickness of fries. Watch carefully so they don’t burn, but they get done.
