Kat’s Teriyaki Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup broth – I use my own canned chicken
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic or heaping T minced garlic
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger root, diced very small
  • 2 T cornstarch .

Directions:

Combine cornstarch with LOSO soy sauce. Add this to the remaining ingredients in a saucepan.

Bring to a simmer, reduce and cook til slightly thickened. Cool and store in fridge or can be canned.

Optional: can either leave in or take out the bits of garlic and ginger root. I leave mine in.
