1 pizza crust recipe (the Low Sodium No Salt Pizza Crust In Food Processor found in the files) spread in a 12 x 17 pan OR use your favorite one, or try flatbread.

Bake the crust 6 minutes at 425 degrees.

Ingredients

  • 1- 2 T. olive oil
  • 10 cloves roasted garlic, well chopped
  • 3 large Roma tomatoes, very thinly sliced
  • 1 bunch fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced.
  • 4 oz. fresh mozzarella, diced or crumbled
  • 2 ozs. grated Parmesan

Directions

Spread the olive oil on the baked pizza crust. Next add the roasted garlic evenly spread on the crust. Now, cover the entire crust with well placed tomato slices. Sprinkle the basil all over the tomatoes. Now sprinkle on the mozzarella.

Bake about 15 minutes. Remove from oven and top with grated Parmesan. Bake another 3 minutes.

Cut into 12 slices.

Entire pizza is about 750 mg sodium with MY pizza crust. Each slice is 65 mg sodium
