Caesar Salad Dressing Mix

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tsp grated lemon peel
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/8 tsp instant minced garlic
  • 2 tsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, stir until well blended.

Place mixture in an airtight container or jar and label with instructions on how to make the dressing. Store in a cool, dry place and use within 3-4 months.

Instructions to make Caesar Salad dressing – Combine mix, 1/2 cup vegetable oil and 1/4 cup lemon juice in a glass jar. Shake until well blended.

Chill before serving. Makes about 3/4 cup of salad dressing.

If you want a creamy dressing reduce the vegetable oil to 1/4 cup and add in 1/4 cup low fat sour cream.
